CSIR NEIST Jorhat Recruitment 2022 – Eligibility Criteria
1. Project Scientist-I
Name of Project: Centre of Excellence for Advanced Computation and Data Sciences: BIC at CSIR- North East Institute of Science & Technology
Essential Qualification: Doctoral Degree in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology/Computer Science/ Biotechnology
Desirable: Two years of postdoctoral or industry experience in A) Computer Aided Drug Design B) Bioinformatics C) Developing Bioinformatics or related software tools/ databases and applying machine learning in natural sciences with a proven record of publications and/or software products in public domain, exposure to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning & Hardware maintenance.
Remuneration: Rs.56,000/- per month+ HRA
Age Limit: Maximum Age 35 Years
2. Project Associate-I
Name of Project: Centre of Excellence for Advanced Computation and Data Sciences: BIC at CSIR- North East Institute of Science & Technology.
Essential Qualification: Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics / Biology / Computer Science/Computational Chemistry.
Desirable: Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Applications to Biology, Software Development skills.
Remuneration: Rs. 31,000/- per month+ HRA for GATE/ CSIR-NET qualifiers and Rs. 25,000/- per month+ HRA for others.
Age Limit: Maximum Age 35 Years.
3. Scientific Administrative Assistant
Name of Project: Centre of Excellence for Advanced Computation and Data Sciences: BIC at CSIR- North East Institute of Science & Technology.
Essential Qualification: Graduate Degree in Science.
Desirable: Experience in Bioinformatics and Computer Applications, Administrative Experiences.
Remuneration: Rs.18,000/- per month+ 8% HRA
Age Limit: Maximum Age 50 Years
4. Project Associate-I
Name of Project: Prevention and Management of COVID-19
Essential Qualification: MSc in Bioinformatics or Biochemistry or Molecular Biology with knowledge on data handling and ability to work in data analytics/RTPCR Covid Testing.
Desirable: NIL
Remuneration: Rs. 25,000/- per month+ HRA.
Age Limit: Maximum Age 35 Years.
5. Sr. Project Associate
Name of Project: CSIR Virtual Lab: Jigyasa
Essential Qualification: PhD in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology OR MTech in Computer Science.
Desirable: NIL
Remuneration: Rs. 42000/- per month+ HRA.
Age Limit: Maximum Age 40 Years.
6. Project Associate-I
Name of Project: Establishment of Bio resource Centre for making S&T Intervention in Banana Value Chain for Socio-Economic Development in Udalguri District.
Essential Qualification: Master Degree in Natural and Agricultural Sciences/MVSc or Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technology from recognized Universities or equivalent.
Desirable: NIL
Remuneration: Rs. 25000/- per month+ HRA.

7. Field Assistant
Name of Project: Establishment of Bio resource Centre for making S&T Intervention in Banana Value Chain for Socio-Economic Development in Udalguri District.
Essential Qualification: BSc in Biological Science/ 3 years Diploma in Engineering.
Desirable: Experienced in Field Works, Training on dissemination of rural technologies.
Remuneration: Rs. 20000/- per month+ HRA.
Age Limit: Maximum Age 50 Years.
