Eligibility Criteria of Assam Police Recruitment 2023

Assam Police has released a job advertisement for the recruitment of 594 Safai Karmachari, Sweeper, Tailor and Dresser vacancy under Assam Police, Forest Department, DGCD & CGHG and Fire & Emergency Services and Prison Department Eligibility Criteria are given below.

Nationality: Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam. Selected candidates will have to submit Proof of Residence after publication of the final select list.

Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.

Educational Qualification:

Safai Karmachari: Minimum Class VI passed from a recognized School or Institution and maximum qualification will be HSSLC or Class XII passed from recognized Board or Council.

Tailor: Candidates must have passed HSLC from any recognized Board or Council and Diploma in Trade are eligible.

Dresser: Candidates must have passed HSLC from any recognized board or council and having experience in Dresser (Medical) are eligible.

Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be minimum 18 years and maximum 40 years as on 1st January 2023. Candidate must be born on or before 1st January 2005 and on or after 1st January 1983.

Salary:

CIVIL DEFENCE AND HOME GUARDS, ASSAM: Pay scale of Rs. 14,000-60,500 (Pay Band- II) and Grade pay Rs. 5000/- plus other allowances as admissible under
the rules.

SAFAI KARMACHARI IN ASSAM POLICE: Pay scale of Rs. 12000-52000 (Pay Band- I) and Grade pay Rs. 3900/- plus other allowances as admissible under the
rules.

Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

SC/ ST(P)/ ST(H): 5 years
OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
