Eligibility Criteria of Civil Defence and Home Guards Recruitment 2023

Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards, Assam has released a job advertisements for the recruitment of 251 Havilder (Grade III), Constable (Grade III) and Platoon Commander vacancy under Directorate of Civil Defence and Home Guards Eligibility Criteria are given below.

Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizen, permanent resident of Assam.

Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.

Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.

Qualification:

Havilder (Grade III): H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.

Other Qualification: Minimum NCC ‘B’ Certificate. The persons having H.S.L.C. passed certificate but not possessing minimum NCC ‘B’ Certificate are not eligible to apply.

Constable (Grade III): H.S.L.C or equivalent examination passed from a recognized Board or Council.

Other Qualification: Home Guard Certificate or Minimum NCC ‘A’ Certificate.

Platoon Commander: The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a recognized University.

Other Qualification: NCC ‘B’ Certificate OR Home Guards Training Certificate.

Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 40 years as on 01-07-2022 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01.07.2004 and on or after 01.07.1982).

Age Relaxation: The category-wise age relaxation is as mentioned below.

SC/ST: 5 years
OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
