Gauhati University Recruitment 2022 – Eligibility Criteria

Gauhati University (GU) Guwahati has released a job advertisement for the recruitment of Research Associate (RA), Junior Research Fellow (JRF), Project Assistant (PA)/ Engineer and Laboratory Bearer posts Eligibility Criteria are given below.

1. Research Associate (RA-I)

Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. in Experimental High-Energy/ Nuclear Physics.

Fellowship: Rs. 47,000/- + HRA +MA (as per present GU norms) (per month).

2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

Minimum Qualification: 1st class M.Sc. in Physics with Nuclear/ High-Energy Physics as special paper.

Fellowship:
• for NET/GATE qualified: Rs. 31,000/- + HRA + MA (per month)
• for non- NET/GATE: Rs: 25,000/- + HRA + MA (per month).

3. Project Assistant (PA)/ Engineer

Minimum Qualification: M.Sc. in Physics or B.Tech. (Electronics)

Salary: 20,000/- + HRA (per month)

4. Laboratory Bearer

Minimum Qualification: H.S. Candidate having work experience in a project in a similar post will be given preference.

Salary: 9000/- per month (fixed).

 

Type of Engagement:

Though the project is expected to continue for 5 years, the appointment will be made purely on a temporary basis and may be terminated at any time without prior notice. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
