Eligibility Criteria of Prison Department Recruitment 2023
State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) has released a job notification for unemployment people for the recruitment of 32 Assistant Jailor vacancy in the Prison Department, Assam Eligibility Criteria are given below.
Citizenship: Candidate must be Indian Citizen and permanent resident of Assam.
Employment Exchange Registration: Candidates must register his/ her name with a local Employment Exchange in Assam.
Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must speak Assamese or any other State language fluently.
Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College/Institution affiliated with a recognized University.
Age Limit: The age of the candidate should be minimum 21 years and maximum 40 years as on 1st July 2022.
Age Relaxation: The category wise upper age relaxation is as follows.
SC/ ST: 5 years
OBC/ MOBC: 3 years
Ex-Servicemen: 2 years
Salary: Rs. 14,000-60,500 (Pay Band No.2) and Grade pay Rs. 8700/- plus other allowances.
