Eligibility Criteria of Sainik School Admission 2023

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published a notification of All India Sainik Schools Entrance Examination (AISSEE) 2023 for the admission into to Class VI and Class IX Eligibility Criteria are given below.

Class VI: Candidate should be between 10 and 12 years as of 31.03.2023. Admission for Girls is open in Class-VI only in all Sainik Schools.

Class IX: Candidate should be between 13 and 15 years as of 31.03.2023 and should have passed Class VIII, front a recognized school, at the time of admission. Admission to Class IX is not open for girls.

Duration of Exam: 

Class VI: 150 minutes

Class IX: 180 minutes

 

Sainik School Admission 2023 – Examination Fee

Candidates appearing for AISSEE 2023 must pay an application fee as mentioned below. Application fee must be pay only through online mode.

SC/ST: Rs. 500/-
Others: Rs. 650/-

The exam fee is also required to be paid online through payment gateway, using debit/ credit cards or internet banking or PAYTM Wallet.
